Board of Directors

Composition of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (or their representative) and includes:

Institutional Representatives :
A representative from the Ministry of Finance
A representative from the Ministry of National Education
A representative from the Ministry of Vocational Training
A representative from the Ministry of National Defense
A representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A representative from the Ministry of the Interior
A representative from the Ministry of Energy
A representative from the Ministry of Telecommunications
A representative from the Ministry of Industry
A representative from the Ministry of Health
A representative from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises
A representative from the Public Service Authority
A representative from the Information Systems Security Agency
A representative from the High Commission for Digitalization
A representative from the National Body for the Prevention and Fight against ICT-related Offenses
A representative from the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data
The Director of the Research Center on Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST).
Economic & Academic Representatives :
Two (2) representatives from public and/or private economic enterprises.
Two (2) Professors from different departments.
Two (2) Assistant Professors (Class A).
Two (2) Assistant Professors (Class B).
One (1) elected representative of adjunct faculty (if applicable).
Two (2) elected representatives of administrative, technical, and service staff.
Two (2) elected student representatives.
One (1) representative of the school's alumni association (if applicable).
The Director of the School, the Deputy Directors, the Heads of Departments, and the Director of the Library attend the meetings of the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity.

The secretariat of the Board of Directors is managed by the Secretary General of the School.

Up to four (4) representatives of legal entities and/or natural persons contributing to the financing of the School may attend the proceedings of the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity.

The Board of Directors may call upon any person likely to provide guidance in its deliberations.

External personalities, appointed for their expertise, participate in the proceedings of the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity.

Powers and Responsibilities

The Board of Directors deliberates and votes on :

The school’s institutional project and development plans.
Proposals for training, research programs, and national/international cooperation.
The annual training and research report.
Budgets, financial accounts, and human resources management plans.
Acceptance of gifts, legacies, and grants.
Real estate transactions (acquisitions, sales, or leases) and loans.
The creation of subsidiaries and equity participation.
Forecasts and utilization of the school's own resources (revenue).
Partnership agreements with socio-economic sectors.
The school's Internal Rules and Regulations and the Director's annual activity report.

The Board of Directors examines and proposes any measures aimed at improving the functioning of the school and promoting the achievement of its objectives.

Functioning of the Board of Directors

Ordinary Sessions

The Board meets at least twice a year upon the request of the Chairman.

Extraordinary Sessions

May be convened by the Chairman, the School Director, or by two-thirds (2/3) of its members. In urgent cases, the notice period may be reduced to eight (8) days.
